Acclaimed actress, singer, comedian, and entertainer. Angélica Vale, who starred as the title character in the original iconic Mexican telenovela La Fea Más Bella (“The Most Beautiful Ugly Girl”), hosts a new weekly podcast series about the beloved television show.
Every week Vale brings fans behind the scenes of the legendary show with exclusive stories and insights nearly 20 years after its original broadcast. The podcast also features entertainment personality and podcaster El Filip, who brings his passion and insights as a lifelong fan of the telenovela.

Angélica Vale
Angélica María Vale Hartman, known as Angélica Vale, is a Mexican American actress, singer, comedian, radio personality and television host who first appeared in a television program at just two months old in the telenovela El Milagro de Vivir. With a career spanning television, film, theater, music and voice acting, she has appeared in numerous television productions such as Muñeca Rota, Amigas y Rivales, La Parodia, El Privilegio de Mandar, and achieved international fame starring in La Fea Más Bella. She has also excelled in voice over work for the Spanish version of animated films like Ice Age and Coco, and performed on stage in plays like Mentiras. She has hosted major events and TV programs including Hoy, Premios Juventud, and Qué Noche on Telemundo, and released an album titled Dinastía with her mother, Angélica María. More recently, she starred in the telenovela Y Mañana Será Otro Día…Mejor, participated in Netflix’s animated series Seis Manos, and currently hosts her own radio show Todo se Vale on Cali 93.9.
El Filip
El Filip began his career at one of the most important radio stations in Mexico, where he worked as an announcer, disc jockey, and host for 18 years. His experience in radio as a personality and storyteller proved to be the perfect training for his highly successful career in podcasting. He not only co-hosts En SHOCK with Jorge Carbajal, but also hosts his own popular daily entertainment podcast El Filip, as well as the chilling podcast about paranormal activity, El Alarido.
