Jorge Ramos is an immigrant and independent journalist. For 38 years, he served as the anchor of Noticiero Univisión. His digital news channel, “Así Veo las Cosas,” is currently followed by millions of viewers worldwide. He also co-hosts “The Moment,” a weekly English-language podcast produced by iHeartMedia and Radio Ambulante, alongside his daughter, Paola Ramos. His weekly column is syndicated across the United States and Latin America by The New York Times Syndicate.
Throughout his career, Jorge has witnessed era-defining events, from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the September 11 attacks. He has interviewed many of the world’s most powerful leaders, including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chávez, and Nicolás Maduro.
